Diaphragm type Flow Control Valves
Flow control valves are designed to regulate and maintain a steady flow rate regardless of fluctuations in upstream and downstream pressures. This is achieved through the use of solenoid valves, which are actuated by electrical signals received from a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Electronic Controller.
The solenoid pilots, in turn, add or relieve line pressure from the cover chamber of the valve, thereby causing it to open or close in accordance with the instructions provided by the PLC or electronic controller. By maintaining a constant flow rate, Flow Control Valves play an important role in ensuring the efficient operation of fluid systems across a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
Advantages of Diaphragm type Flow Control Valves :
Fast Response Time: FCVs respond quickly to changes in flow rate or other system parameters, making them ideal for applications that require rapid adjustments or changes in flow.
Energy Efficiency: FCVs are typically more energy efficient than other types of valves. It consumes 16-20 W Power only.
Maintenance: FCVs are generally low-maintenance and have a longer lifespan than other types of valves. They also require minimal physical effort to operate, reducing the risk of operator fatigue or injury.
