Altitude Control Valves

Altitude valves are essential components of water distribution systems that regulate the water level in reservoirs. They are specifically designed to control the high water level in reservoirs without the use of floats or other mechanical devices.

One of the main advantages of altitude valves is their ability to function without the need for external energy sources. They operate solely on the principle of hydraulic pressure and gravity, which makes them highly reliable and cost-effective.

Altitude valves are non-throttling valves, which means that they remain fully open until the shut-off point is reached. This feature allows for high flow rates with minimal head loss. Additionally, they are designed for one-way flow only, which ensures that the water flows in the intended direction and prevents backflow.
